Huawei MA5600 SHEA SHEB 32-channel SHDSL Service Board

The SHEA board is a 32channel SHDSL service board.It provides the ATM SHDSL access services and supports line protection.
The SHEB board is a 32-channel SHDSL.bis service board. It provides the ATM/PTM SHDSL.bis access services and supports line protection.
The SHEA/SHEB board can be installed in slots 0-6 and 9-15 of the MA5600 service shelf,or in slots 1-6 of the MA5603.

The modules and working principles of the SHEB board are the same as those of the SHEAboard. Their only difference is that the SHEB board accesses SHDSL.bis signals.The following takes the SHEA board as example.
Working principles of the SHEA board:


The basic working principles of the SHEA board are as follows:
* The control module loads the board software, controls the running of the board, and manages the entire board.
* The power module supplies power to each functional module of the board.

* The clock module provides clock signals for each functional module of the board.
The services are processed as follows:
* In the upstream direction, the interface module converts the line signals into a cell flow,aggregates the flow to the forwarding module,and then reassembles the cell flow into ATM packets.The forwarding moduleen capsulates the reassembled ATM packets and performs committed access rate (CAR) on the packets. Then, the packets are transmitted to the backplane bus through the backplane port and then to the control board. After the packets
are processed by the control board, they are transmitted to the upper layer device through the optical or electrical port.
* In the downstream direction,the forwarding module re-encapsulates the data from the Ethernet, reassembles the packets into the ATM packets after the CAR processing after CAR processing, and then transmits the data to the interface module. The interface module converts the data into analog signals, and then transmits the analog signals to the subscriber line.
