The power supply system for the E9000 chassis consists of six PSUs. PSUs include direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) PSUs. When the E9000 is fully configured with PSUs, the rated power of the chassis is 9000 W to 15,000 W. The rated input voltage for AC PSUs is 100 V AC to 130 V AC, 200 V AC to 220 V AC or 220 V AC to 240 V AC (50 Hz to 60 Hz). The input voltage for DC PSUs is -48 V DC to -60 V DC or 260 V DC to 400 V DC. Figure 3 shows the installation positions of the PSUs and slot numbers in the chassis. PSU hibernation Multiple redundant PSUs waste power when the chassis power is lower. The PSU hibernation feature sets extra PSUs to the hibernation mode to save energy based on the PSU configurations and current chassis power. The E9000 is model of chassis product that Huawei developed. It can house the E9000 series compute nodes, storage nodes, and resource expansion nodes in its 12 U chassis. The E9000 has the following features and functions. Supports 8 full-width compute nodes or 16 half-width compute nodes for flexible slot configuration.
