Huawei SmartAX MA5606T Multi-service Access Module (hereinafter referred to as the MA5606T) is a multi-service access product launched by Huawei. It has the following orientations: 1, As a mini–digital subscriber line access multiplexer (mini-DSLAM), it provides a small number of users with access to the Internet independently or by subtending with the MA5600T. 2, As an optical network unit (ONU) in a gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON), it provides GPON uplink connections, thus realizing fiber to the neighborhood (FTTN) access by coordinating with the optical line terminal (OLT) at the central office.
