E6000 Server blade BH620 V2/BH621 V2/BH622 V2/BH640 V2

The server blades in the E6000 feature high-speed computing, mass data processing, and flexible scalability. The server blades are installed in slots 1 through 10 on the front of the E6000 shelf and are managed by the management modules (MMs).




NOTE:
The BH620, BH620 V2, BH621 V2, BH622 V2, and BH640 V2 server blades can be installed in one chassis.

 1: Features of the BH620 V2
ComponentDescription
CPUThe server blade supports Intel Xeon  new-generation high-performance
CPUs. The server blade supports one or two Xeon
E5-2400 (Romley-EN)
series high-performance CPUs of 95 W or lower.
BusThe server blade uses one QuickPath bus for interconnecting CPUs and other
 components. The bus provides a maximum transmission rate of 8.0 GT/s.
Dual in-line memory
 module (DIMM)
The server blade provides 12 Double Data Rate 3 (DDR3) slots for installing
 registered DIMMs (RDIMMS) and load-reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs).
 The maximum memory capacity is 192 GB.
The server blade supports the DDR3 memory bus frequency of 800, 1066,
1333, or 1600 MHz.
The server blade supports error checking and correcting (ECC).
Management moduleThe server blade provides an independent integrate management module (iMana).
The server blade provides redundant Intelligent Platform Management Bus
(IPMB) links for connecting to the two MMs.
The server blade provides two 10/100M Ethernet links for connecting to two MMs.
Integrated

The server blade integrates with a dual-channel gigabit Ethernet (GE)
controller (Intel 82580).
The server blade integrates a video graphics array (VGA) (XGI Z11).

The server blade provides a PCIe x8 slot for a standard full-height half-length PCIe card.

The maximum memory capacity is 192 GB.

 E5-2600 (Sandy Bridge-EP,
Ivy Bridge-EP) series high-performance CPUs of 130 W or lower.
For Intel Xeon E5-2600 series high-performance CPUs, the maximum
frequency is 3.3 GHz, and the maximum L3 cache is 20 MB.
BusThe server blade uses two QuickPath buses for interconnecting CPUs and
other components. Each bus provides a maximum transmission rate of 8.0 GT/s.
Dual in-line memory
module (DIMM)
The server blade provides 24 Double Data Rate 3 (DDR3) slots for installing
 registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) and load-reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs).
The maximum memory capacity is 384 GB.
The server blade supports the DDR3 memory bus frequency of 800, 1066,
1333, or 1600 MHz.
The server blade supports error checking and correcting (ECC).

 1333, or 1600 MHz.
