The ADEF/ADBF board is a 64-channel ADSL2+ service board. The ADEF board supports
ADSL2+ over POTS services, and can work with the SPLF board. The ADBF board supports ADSL2+ over ISDN services, and can work with the SPLH board.
The ADEF/ADBF board can be installed in slots 0-6 and 9-15 of the MA5600 service shelf, and slots 1-6 of the MA5603 service shelf.

Working principles of the ADEF/ADBF board:
The basic working principles of the ADEF/ADBF board are as follows:
* The control module loads the board software, controls the running of the board, and manages the entire board.
* The power module supplies power to each functional module of the board.
* The clock module provides clock signals for each functional module of the board.
* In the upstream direction, the interface module converts the ADSL2+ signals into a cell flow, aggregates the flow to the forwarding module, and then reassembles the cell flow into ATM packets. The forwarding module encapsulates the reassembled ATM packets and performs committed access rate (CAR) on the packets. Then, the packets are transmitted to the backplane bus through the backplane port and then to the control board. After the packets are processed by the control board, they are transmitted upstream to the upper layer device through the optical or electrical port.
* In the downstream direction, the forwarding module re-encapsulates the data from the Ethernet, adapts the data to the ATM connection after CAR processing, and then transmits the data to the interface module. The interface module converts the data into analog signals and then transmits the analog signals to the subscriber line.
